HAAD Overview
For healthcare professionals wishing to work in Abu Dhabi must be obtained license through the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi (HAAD). HAAD is one of the most vital exams to pass for registered medical professionals such as nurses and pharmacists who want to work in Abu Dhabi.
Based on your qualification, you will be classified into your specific profession and asked to take the HAAD Exam. A HAAD exam is available for doctors, nurses, pharmacists, dentists, and physiotherapists.
Nurses must also obtain a license from HAAD, regardless of whether they want to be registered nurses, registered midwives, nurse practitioners, mental health nurses, paediatric nurses, community nurses, or assistant nurses.
